The monocoque structure of the ROboMObil was surveyed for the next production steps. The two identical axle modules which house the front and back double-wishbone suspensions with the Wheel Robots were manufactured and aligned with the body.
For designing an ergonomic and functional interior of the ROboMObil a mockup was manufactured. The mockup helped towards finding an optimal arrangement of the Human-Machine-Interface (HMI) components, consisting of three touchscreen monitors and a force-feedback sidestick.
