The ROboMObil was displayed in front of an international audience in the space pavilion of the ILA Berlin Air Show. Countless visitors and several politicians visited the ROboMObil. They experienced a live demonstration of ROboMObil’s 360° environmental perception using semi-global matching (SGM) technology. SGM is a computer vision algorithm for the estimation of a dense disparity map from a rectified stereo image pair. Further processing allows clustering of areas with similar movement and thus the detection of objects and individuals.
