A new camera roof box was manufactured using the original clay mold of the driver cabin to ensure a perfect fit. The roof box is equipped with two Wi-Fi antennas and houses the camera power and communication electronics. Eight additional cameras are mounted to provide 360° surround vision together with the existing six cameras. That makes a total of one color stereo, five monochrome stereo and two monochrome triple camera pairs. The cameras with a resolution of 782×582 pixels and a frame rate of up to 60 frames per second are connected to the vision system via gigabit ethernet.
