In the beginning of the ROboMObil project different design concepts for the exterior representation of the vehicle were created. The design is reminiscent of the Messerschmitt cabin scooter, a disruptive, streamlined classic vehicle. The innovative modular concept, enabled by the robotic inspired full-by-wire control concept, combines axle modules, battery pack, a central control unit and Wheel Robots, together with a two-seat monocoque cabin.
